All Imlay Township residents will be able to bring in their recyclables, glass, numbered plastic, paper, and cardboard. There will also be a special place for metal and a separate area for general refuse. Township residents may also bring in clean, used motor oil for recycling. Ishred will be on hand to shred personal paper documents during the clean-up. We will not be able to accept any tires, hazardous materials, paints, cleaning solvents, or similar items.
2009 Lapeer County Tornado Siren Test Schedule
If your community has a tornado siren, below are the dates that they will be tested:
Saturday, April 4th
Saturday, May 2nd
Saturday, June 6th
Saturday, July 4th
Saturday, August 1st
Saturday, September 5th
Saturday, October 3rd
All tests will be held at 1:00pm. Should inclement weather be present at the time of testing, the test will be canceled. Should you have any questions, please contact your local fire department.
