Imlay Township Zoning Board of Appeals

Imlay Township Hall Tuesday May 10, 2005 7:00p.m.

Members Present: Chairman David Schipono, John Mulder, Kurt Kramer, and Al Jager.

Members Absent: Dennis Burns

Others Present: Andy Anderson, Nextel Communications representative.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00p.m. by David Schipono, and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Nextel representative Andy Anderson requested that the set back of the new tower be 30ft instead of 15 feet to the north property line to contain icefall and allow access behind the tower.

Moved by David Schipono supported by Kurt Kramer, to grant the variance with the change of the 30-foot set back. Motion Carried.

Moved by Al Jager supported by John Mulder, to nominate Kurt Kramer as the vice chairman to the Zoning Board of Appeals, and that the nominations are closed, and a unanimous vote is cast for Kurt Kramer. Motion Carried.

Recording secretary Jessica Kirchoff read back the minutes of the meeting.

Moved by John Mulder supported by Al Jager, to approve the minutes for the May 10, 2005 ZBA meeting as read. Motion Carried.
